Your teen still wants a birthday party? Here are some teen girl and boy ideas for the birthday child and close friends.

Outdoor or Sports-oriented activities: Horseback riding at Saddle Ridge Riding Center, a sporting event like a Major League Lacrosse game, a monster truck show like Monster Jam, white water rafting with Whitewater Challengers, outdoor paintball at Battlecreek Paintball, bowling at Lucky Strike, indoor rock climbing at the Gravity Vault, or dinner at Boom Burger to watch the big game.

Urban Pool Party: Splurge on a night away with your child and friend(s). NYC hotels that have pools: Le Parker Meridien – Enclosed rooftop pool, they also have a gym downstairs with basketball courts. Gansevoort – Rooftop pool. A suite can hold many kids. Finish the pool stuff by 9:00 – 10:00 pm as the club crowd starts to arrive in the lounge area.

Creation Parties: Jewelry-making at the Bazaar Star Beadery, Fashion Party Tie Dye party with Tie Dye Town. Make mosaic frames at Mosaic Glass Works in Waldwick.
