SANTA Claus IS COMIN’ TO….SUMMIT!

Santa Claus is comin’ to town… and by “town” we mean Summit!

This Saturday, December 3, come join “Santa’s Holiday Party and Tree Lighting” organized by the Summit Area YMCA. Santa Claus, as well as Mrs. Claus, will arrive with the assistance of the Summit Fire Department at 5:30PM. At 5:45PM, Santa will join Summit Mayor Nora Radest to light the Town Holiday Tree. Pictures with Santa will continue until 7:00PM.

During the event Summit’s Bridges Outreach will collect men’s cold-weather gloves and hats, and the Red Cross’s Holiday for Heroes program will be there helping us thank and recognize members of the military, veterans and their families through a variety of activities. There will be festive music, ice sculpting, a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, and hot chocolate.

5:45PM – 7:00PM Holiday activities (Men’s Glove & Hat collection for Bridges, Red Cross’s Holiday Mail for Soldiers, and more)
5:45PM – 7:00PM Holiday Music by World of Rock
5:45PM – 7:00PM Ice Sculpture on the Village Green
6:00PM The reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas by Jeslyn Wheeless of the Summit Free Public Library
