Ridgewood Day Camps

Kids outsideSummer Adventure 2016  • June 27-August 5, 2016
This is one of our favorites! Pre K- 5th grade. Every summer, Ridgewood holds Summer Adventure Camp at one of the elementary schools. If you feel like your child needs to polish up his writing schools or can use a little extra math help to prepare for the upcoming school year, this IS the place.
Ridgewood teachers and staff teach reading, math, and writing in fun ways with small, intimate groups. Summer Adventure also offers everything from Comic Book Creation, Edible Art, Best Ball Games to Muggles at Hogwarts (a Harry Potter inspired class). Have a child that isn’t quite read for Kindergarte, sign them up for “Cruise into Kindergarten” where they can work on all the skills that they need to feel confident and comfortable in the fall.
Children can sign up for one a 3 two-week sessions. The schedules are very flexible. You can choose a half or full day and include before and after care. Start the day with something more academic and then let off some energy doing something fun like dancing, outdoor games or gymnastics.
