“Oklahoma” performances at Madison High School

This weekend Madison High School students will be performing the musical, OKLAHOMA.  The Rodgers and Hammerstein original Broadway production opened in March of 1943, and won an academy award for it’s 1955 film adaption.

The role of leading man, Curly McClain, will be played by MHS senior, Ransom Silliman.  And MHS junior Aileen Bergin will play the role of leading lady, Laurey Williams.

Memorable songs from the show include: Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin’, Surrey with the Fringe on Top, People Will Say We’re In Love, I Cain’t Say No, and the title song, Oklahoma.
