New Openings: Poke Zone Has Arrived in Ridgewood!
Poke bowls seem to be popping everywhere and finally, a restaurant dedicated to them has arrived in Ridgewood: Poke Zone. Never had a poke bowl? You’re in for a treat. they’re popping up everywhere. What’s not to love? The nutritious, protein-packed bowls are filled with everything your body needs and absolutely delicious. Poke bowls, a Hawaiian dish, are like a deconstructed sushi roll. Poke means “to slice or cut” in Hawaiian and refers to chunks of raw, marinated fish over rice. Most are made with tuna and topped with veggies and/or fruit like mangos, avocado, cucumber and seaweed.
Besides poke bowls, Poke Zone will also be serving up apps like edamame, sashimi, sushi, rolls, and noodle bowls!
