Maker Space Open House

June 14 from 5-8 pm.
If you’ve never seen or heard of a tinkering or maker space, here’s your chance to check one out right here in town at our very own high school.

What is a Tinkering Space? A place in which people with shared interests come together to work on projects while sharing ideas, equipment, and knowledge. The RHS Makerspace is equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, various milling devices, and more.

During the open house, you will be able to check out the space and learn about the upcoming programs we have planned for both children and adults.  Light refreshments will be served and there will be activities for all ages.

Ridgewood Education Foundation gifted to The Ridgewood Board of Education accepted a grant Monday night from the  back in Deccmebr 2016 for the creation of a “makerspace” and the acquisition of new technology for the district.
