Spend the day in downtown Summit for the Arts+Cars event Sunday, September 18. This outdoor, juried art show offers plenty of art and wares for sale guided by the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Check out the classic cars at Beechwood Rd & Union Place. Enjoy live music on the stage at Beechwood & Springfield and in the beer garden, click here for the schedule.
Angry Archies
Indulge in a tempting selection of food trucks like Angry Archies, offering seafood items and sandwiches; Summit’s Mr. Chi with his hot dog cart, CAS Pierogi & Kielbasa truck serving delicious Polish specialties; Puras Paletas with their gourmet ice pops; and Summit’s favorite Pizza Vita slinging pies all day! Grab your eats and head to the Beer Garden on Bank Street for a wide selection of adult beverages from Bull ‘n Bear Brewery & Cambridge Wines (over 21 with ID, ticket cost $7 or 4 for $25).
Children’s Activities will be provided by the Summit YMCA, The Connection, and other local nonprofits. Krazy Kevin and Shawn the Balloon Man will be there to entertain guests of all ages! Henna by Helen will be on Springfield Ave offering free henna tattoos and NJ Fairy Hair will be in the beer garden. Entertainment and activities are sponsored by Summit Physical Therapy & Regal Bank.
Festival will be located on Springfield Avenue between Beechwood Road and Summit Avenue!
