How To Tutor Your Own Child

On Monday, May 21, at 7 p.m., the Ridgewood Library will host a presentation by Marina Koestler Ruben of the presitigous Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. on “How to Tutor Your Own Child.” Sidwell is the school where President Obama’s children attend. Even though the school year is winding down, this event can also offer good tips for reviewing subjects with your kids during the summer months. (Yes, I did just say summer and school review in the same sentence and there will be groaning from your “students.”) Ruben is the author of “How to Tutor Your Own Child: Boost Grades and Inspire a Lifelong Love of Learning-Without Paying for a Professional Tutor.” To register for the presentation, please visit www.ridgewoodlibrary.org or call 201-670-5600, ext. 110. It is open to the public. The Ridgewood Library is located at 125 North Maple Avenue in Ridgewood.

The book is available from Amazon.
