Explore an Abandoned Bowcraft Amusement Park…if You Dare

pumpkinexpressBowcraft Amusement Park in Scotch Plains on Route 22 has something new this fall to get you in the Halloween spirit. Every weekend in October, Bowcraft is being turned into a Zombie Escape.

zombieescape_4Navigate through the “abandoned” Bowcraft Amusement Park as you try to find items for survival. Using a map to find your way, be careful not to run, make noise, or do anything else that will attract the swarm of Flesh Eating Zombies! As you explore, you’ll come across traders, other groups and, of course, Zombies. Lots of Zombies! Your goal is to get through the course with all the survival items on the map and all members of your group alive.

The faint-of-heart and younger folks will enjoy the Pumpkin Express Train Ride. The Express will bring guests from Harvest Station to our Pumpkin Patch where each member of your party can select a pumpkin and take pictures.

The Pumpkin Express Train and Zombie Escape are open every Saturday and Sunday in October. Tickets to the Zombie Escape is $30/person from 8-11/12 pm and the Train is $12/person for a round trip train ride and pumpkin, from 11AM – 4PM.
