Drip Coffee coming to Chatham

Is anyone else excited about the opening of the new “Drip” coffee shop in downtown Chatham?

In space formerly occupied by Cafe Beethoven, Chathamites will soon have a new place to hang out and enjoy a cup of joe. Although I searched for a specific opening date, I was not successful. So I contacted the Madison location and was told that the Chatham shop should be opening in approximately two weeks.
Searching around on Facebook it seems that the shop’s first art exhibit – Spring Group Show by the Art League of the Chathams – will be on view through June 30 with an art reception taking place on May 12.

Will keep you posted on specific details when I find out more.

In the meantime, I look forward to the hipper vibe that Drip provides. I’ve visited the downtown Madison location a few times and it has great energy. More importantly, service was friendly and the coffee great.

In addition to cold and hot beverages, Drip also serves lunch and snacks i.e. muffins, fresh fruit, scones, etc.
Be sure to check their event schedule featuring local artist spotlights, as well as local live talent.

Rumor has it that their grilled cheese sandwiches are the bomb……
