A Place We Take For Granted …
The Park Avenue Deli and Caterers is definitely a place that I frequent often – mainly because of their famous chopped salads! We went there today and I just had to drop a mention. I ordered my small chopped salad that was anything but tiny – it actually carried me from lunch to dinner. My love ordered a wrap with Buffalo grilled chicken tossed in a spicy hot sauce with Cheddar Jack Cheese, lettuce, tomato and a bit of blue cheese. This wasn’t exactly on the extensive menu – they were kind enough to make this to our specifications. It was generous in size and exactly what hit the spot. This local deli is located at the corner of Merrick Road and Park Avenue – and it has seating inside if you do not want to carry out. While waiting for my salad to be chopped, I asked the patron next to me why she frequents this particular deli, and she said “I’ts the best deli around – and the staff is super friendly!”
I couldn’t agree more. We thank this establishment for always going the extra mile – tossing in an extra container of dressing, making sure you always leave satisfied and consistently handling their customers with a smile. Thanks all!
