Affordable rides for local Seniors

The Tri-Town 55+ Coalition has introduced an affordable transportation program for residents in Madison, Chatham, and Chatham Township who are 65 and older. Seniors will now qualify for affordable transportation within a 15 mile radius of their homes at a one way cost of $5 for 1 or more riders.  Suggested uses for the service include professional appointments, shopping, and entertainment.

Specific details about the program can be found at tritown55plus.org/rides-for-seniors-1. And participants may REGISTER NOW either by phone at 855-464-6872, or visiting the Tri-Town 55+online registration page. Questions regarding the program can be addressed by email to TRITOWN55PLUS@GMAIL.COM.

The Tri-Town 55+ Coalition started in January 2016 with the help of a grant from the Grotta Fund for Senior Care. They are a non-profit, community based organization that partners representatives of business, non-profit, and public agencies to address the quality of life and diverse needs and interests of older adults and their families in the communities of Chatham Borough, Chatham Township, and Madison Borough.
