A Taste of Summit

Sunday, March 26, from 6:00PM to 8:30PM
The “Taste of Summit” is a gourmet extravaganza featuring more than 20 of Summit’s finest restaurants and food merchants. Each restaurant will be serving delicious “tastes” showcasing their special dishes spanning many cuisines, scrumptious desserts from Summit’s finest bakers and a cash bar.  A very special chef from YouTube’s “Cooking with Nonna” fame, Rossella Rago, will be joining us at the Taste this year. Rosella will have some “tastes” on hand and will be signing copies of her just-published debut cookbook “Cooking with Nonna.” The Taste of Summit is the key fundraiser for the Summit Historical Society, an all-volunteer not-for-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of Summit through the Carter House Museum and its archives. Tickets on sale now; priced at $50 per adult and $20 per child (ages 6 through 12).  For tickets or more info call 908-277-1747 or go to summithistoricalsociety.org.

Grand Summit Hotel, 570 Springfield Avenue, Summit.

She now works from home as a freelance graphic designer and a chauffeur to her 3 busy kids. "Working on TipsFromTown has been a wonderful outlet for me. It renewed my love of publishing where I can design colorful, enticing pages online and allows me to share the things I love about being a mom." Heather grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a place that still is near and dear to her. " After living in Brooklyn for 18 years and studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, she now lives in the Jersey burbs. "I love living so close to NYC, but in my heart, I'm an Ohio girl."
