3 US Presidential Scholars in Shaker Heights
The candidates for the 2017 US Presidential Scholars have been announced and Three Shaker Heights students, one from Shaker Heights High School and two from Hathaway Brown, were named US Presidential Scholars.
- Regan N. Brady and Arielle M. Devito from Hathaway Brown School
- Allison A. Nordstrom from Shaker Heights High School
156 Ohio students made it onto the list. Students are selected based on their academic success, artistic excellence, essays, school evaluations, transcripts, community service, leadership, and demonstrated commitment to ideals. Since 1964, the US Presidential Scholars has honored over 7,000 high school students.
