The Cedar Grove Fire Department is hosting a Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 21 from 5 to 9 pm at the Macedonian Church in Cedar Grove.  All proceeds will benefit Cedar Grove resident Bill Fearon who has been battling a malignant brain tumor since May. Celebrity guests will include “Chopped “ judge and “Iron Chef” contestant Amanda Freitag, a former Cedar Grove resident; Ariane Duarte who was featured on America’s Top Chef; Anne Marie Leamy and Race Taylor From WPLJ 95.5; and Former Super Bowl Punter Steve Weatherford.  WPLJ’s Todd Pettengill of the “Todd and Jayde” show will serve as Master of Ceremonies.

Fire House Cook Tom Wilson has been a member of Cedar Grove Fire Departments Center Fire Company for over 30 Years. He won bragging rights at the 2014 CBS Fire House Chili Cook Off Contest.  Recently April 11, 2015 he earned third place at Montclair’s MFEE Chili Cook-Off.  Tom is looking forward to his biggest challenge November 21 2015 when he takes on the local chili talent at the Cedar Grove Fire Dept. Benefit Chili Cook Off.
