Vote from Home in New Jersey’s Primary Election
Vote from home in New Jersey’s primary election on Tuesday, July 7. If you are a registered independent (unaffiliated) or inactive Republican or Democrat voter, you will receive an application to request a mail-in ballot with a stamped, self-addressed return envelope.
Fill out the application with your political party (Republican or Democrat) and send it back to your County Clerk. It must be postmarked by June 30 to vote in this year’s primary election. Then, you will receive a mail-in ballot to vote from home, which must be returned and postmarked by July 7 at 8 p.m.
