My son and I went to the NY Times Travel Show so you didn’t have to! Our picks for most interesting were:

Coolest Airline: Take some downtime in the desert. Virgin America now flies from JFK to Palm Springs with a quick stop in San Francisco. Mellow out with moodlighting and cocktails on demand during this flight. Palm Springs is an exotic oasis for relaxation. The Joshua Tree National Park is just a one-hour drive away. Spring and fall are the best times to go.

Family Adventure Outfitters: Families have the option to experience something more interesting than your normal beach holiday. From a riverboat cruise down the Amazon to the legendary pyramids of Egypt you can create a family memory that will last a lifetime.
