The First Girls Ice Hockey Team in Westfield

One of the things I love about Westfield is the sense of community we all have for our great town.  A group of Westfield parents have gotten together to launch the first Girls Ice Hockey Team at the high school. It will be the third public school in the state to have a girls ice hockey team.

They are looking to raise money because the team will be 100% self funded. For 3 hours this Saturday, September 17th, Athleta, on Broad Street, will be helping the team reach their goal with a “Friends and Family.” Save 25% off clothing, and 10% of their proceeds will help support the Westfield Girls Ice Hockey Team. There will be raffles and prizes as well. So be sure to stop by for great deals and to help a great cause.
