Summit Gives Generously!

The Summit Thanksgiving Food Drive hosted by Fellow First Foundation has been going strong for a decade! The mission is to help and comfort to New Jersey families in distress. Their mission statement reads: “Every once in a while, the less fortunate need a helping hand. That is why we exist.” All of their profits go to organizations like the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, the New Jersey Community Foundation, Summit Area Public Foundation or Family Promise.

This year, they collected two-and-a-half tons of turkeys, two tons of groceries and nearly $2,000 in cash! Over the last 10 years old, Over the last 10 years, they have donated:

• 27 tons of turkeys
• 16 tons of groceries
• $90,000 in cash
