Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Founded in 1936, the Newark St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the oldest in the state. The parade, which includes a high school band competition, is celebrating its 83rd year. The procession starts at 1 p.m. outside the Prudential Center at Mulberry Street. Then it moves down Mulberry Street towards Four Gateway Center and on to NJPAC, St. Patrick’s Pro-Cathedral, the Newark Museum and Washington Park; visit newarkparade.com
