Make A Difference At Community Service Day!
Do you have a little bit of time to spare in between running to all the sports and activities on the weekend? If you have a few minutes, a half-hour or however much time you can spare. Be sure to stop by Edison Intermediate School next Saturday, May 6th from 10 am – 12 pm.
It is Community Service Day. It is a free event for all ages. The day will offer over 15 hands-on community service related projects. There is something for everyone to get involved in.
- Some of the projects will be:
- Writing letters to our troops
- Making extra meals for a shelter
- Making care kits for the homeless
- Making appreciation banners for Westfield Fire and Police Departments
- Making dog toys for a dog rescue
- Collecting used sports equipment- soccer balls, hula hoops, tennis rackets, footballs, goals
It only takes a few minutes to help make a difference in our community!
