Madison Wins Award for Music & Performing Arts

The Madison Visual and Performing Arts Department has been named a national “Best Community for Music Education” for the 4th consecutive year!

Out of 14,000 eligible districts, only 583 were selected. The award goes to districts that demonstrate outstanding achievement in efforts to provide music access and education to all students. To qualify for the Best Communities designation, districts must provide information about funding, graduation requirements, music class participation, instruction time, facilities, support for the music program, and community music-making programs. For more about the award, go to NAMM Foundation.

Congratulations to our outstanding music department on this achievement!
