Jamboree: Watch 140 Ridgewood Parents Put on a Show
It’s Jamboree time!!
Over 140 cast members have been practicing their dancing, singing,
and acting to put on an amazing show: “It’s About Time.”

Speaking from a Newbie perspective: I joined the cast this year for the first time. I have attended it over the years to support my friends. I have a newfound respect for all of those involved. The writers had their job completed in June. The director and producers work throughout the year. From the dancers, costume designers, choreographers(who all donate their time and are rock stars), stage crew and set designers, schedulers for rehearsals, party planners, those in charge of food while we are there, fundraisers and more. It really is remarkable what all these parents do, in what little free time they have, in order to raise money for students at RHS. You can watch me humilate myself, if nothing else. Amy Nidds
About the show: After the success of the prior year’s show, the expectations for the 74th Jamboree production to hit the stage on February 2020 are sky high! But from the audience reaction on opening night, the show they’ve worked hard to prepare for is fast going downhill. The sudden disappearance of the Producers and an extraordinary discovery of a time machine in the basement of BF sets our intrepid cast on an exciting adventure through time, but some unintended ripple effects change the course of history, and not just for Ridgewood …

Ridgewood’s Jamboree has been performed by high school parents for the past 73 years in order to raise funds for need-based college scholarships for Ridgewood High School graduating Seniors. Within those 70+ years Jamboree has raised over $1.5 million dollars!
