Celebrate International Children’s Book Day at the Museum of Early Trades & Crafts on Saturday, April 2 by reading to a certified therapy dog from St. Hubert’s Paws for People.
Guests can also take part in story time, a make-your-own book craft, and a self-guided tour of the museum.
Dogs in the Paws for People program are trained to provide comfort and joy to people in nursing homes, hospitals, schools and other facilities. Reading to dogs can help improve a child’s reading and communication skills and encourage a love a reading.
Cost is $5 and includes admission to the Museum.
