INDOOR CYCLING
There are those of us who ride bikes for fun and then the group that would like a hard core workout. If you are preparing for a biathlon or triathlon I would suggest making sure you have the right bike. I did one and was getting crushed because I did not have all the proper gears. I was wiped by the end of the race. Clearly, I need to get on the band wagon and sign up for all the spinning classes out there. Luckily for me, a brand new cycling studio opened up in Waldwick. Everyone is raving about it. Indoor Ryder Cycling Studio located at 10 Franklin Turnpike, Waldwick (201-421-1913). The studio has RealRyder (r) ABF8 indoor cycling bikes which workout the entire body. The bikes tilt and turn the same as a road bike. Classes are designed to challenge all levels and you can work at your own pace. The great background music is designed to keep you going, plus a class coach to inspire you. The best part, Tuesdays and Thursday’s are FREE to any First Time Ryder, so call and make an appointment today. I am on my way there next week because I can’t wait to try this class out. Sounds very similar to Soul Cycle in NYC which is all the rage. You can barely get in a class there. We are lucky to have something similar in our own backyard.
