Healthy Hot Chocolate
This is a great alternative to a fully loaded sugar hot chocolate that you are used to. Awesome health benefits to boot. Another healthy recipe from Danette May’s cookbook.
Ingredients:
1 cup boiling water
1/4 cup almond milk
2 tsp raw cacao powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp honey
1 tsp coconut oil
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp cardamom
1/4 tsp nutmeg
I froth my almond milk if you have a one of those contraptions or a cappuccino maker. My husband and I both really enjoyed this.
