Healthy Dinner on the Go: The Soupermarket

Winter is upon us and a hearty bowl of soup is calling! If you don’t have time to make it yourself, SouperMarket is a great option. They sell soup in by the quart or by the gallon frozen. Stock up and throw a few in the freezer and use them on busy weeknights.

Soupermarket specializes in creating beautifully hand-crafted soups and stocks. They’re all made from scratch and don’t use any additives or preservatives. Their meat and chicken broths start the old-fashioned way by simmering the bones and meats of chicken, beef, and fish with vegetables and herbs for various amounts of time. The end poroduct is a rich, tasty broth that they use as the base for all of their soups. This is what a stock is!

Their vegetable stock is 100% vegan. And all their stocks are all gluten free and low in sodium–they don’t not salt to any of their stocks.  They also make delicious salad dressings and vinaigrettes.

A few favorites: savory Curried Cauliflower & Chick Pea and their hearty, spicy Jambalaya that’s made with pulled chicken, chicken andouille, and crawfish!
