Feeling Fallish? Check Out Our List of Pumpkin Patches, Hayrides and Tons of Other Autumn Activities

Ridgewood’s Halloween Maze: A unique Ridgewood tradition, the Stewart Family has been designing and constructing the maze for 19 years.  Every October, the maze attracts many people of all ages, but please note the maze can be a bit scary for younger children. As maze-creator Gregory Stewart puts it, the most suitable age for the maze is from “when you can read until while you can still walk.”  Anywhere between 300 and 600 people show up for the spooky fun. Made up of 7-foot-tall stakes, twine, clear glass, one-way glass and a hay-covered floor, the maze is not an easy one to solve. In fact, it takes the average first-timer 50 minutes to get through. Located at 124 Sheridan Terrace, Ridgewood. Beginning October 7,  the maze is open 3:30 to 9 p.m on weekdays, and 1:00 pm to 9 p.m on weekends until October 31.
