Due South Broad Bistro…with the whole family

by Martha Goldberg
DueRecently, Jeff and I took the boys out dinner at Due South Broad Bistro and I wanted to share our wonderful experience with all my Ridgewood friends. First, let me say that I found their new location spacious and brighter than their original spot.  And the food was spot on!  We started with the crab cakes and calamari appetizers (yum!).  For our entrees, Jeff ordered the grilled salmon and I had the bronzini – both were perfectly cooked and delicious.  The waiter said they really want to encourage families to come in. So, we tried with our 2 sons ages 9 and 11. My older son had the gluten-free penne pasta. Gluten free pasta?  Score!  My younger son ordered the flat bread margherita as his entree. The wait staff was so friendly and very attentive. Overall, a wonderful dinning experience!
