Down the Home Stretch! More Ideas For Your Elf on the Shelf
What’s not to love about those sweet visiting elves? They have probably already gotten into the cookie jar, maybe swung from the chandelier and tried to hitch a ride in a school backpack or two. Here are a few ideas as we head down the home stretch.
What little lady elf wouldn’t like some holiday bling? Bracelets easily double as elf jewels! Or how about a travel-weary elf going for a morning caffeine fix via chocolate? It’s not so easy getting to the North Pole and back every evening. Any bottle of chocolate sauce plus a straw will do.
Do you have some Skylander fans at your house? Have your elf hop on the portal to try to get beamed up! You can also find your elf hanging out with his new marshmallow – I mean snowman! – friends in the kitchen.
A few more ideas:
– One lump of sugar or two? Set up a tea party with the elf and some Christmas angels
– Go Fish! Arrange a friendly game of cards for your elf and new-found friends (calling stuffed animals, Ninjajos, and Barbies)
– Not exactly her size, but she’ll take them! Find your girl elf trying on shoes in the closet from cozy Uggs and the like to high heels for the holiday party scene
– Five daily servings for all please! Have your elf find his or her way over to the fruit bowl for a nibble
