Clothing and Shoe Labels

The day before school starts, after I’ve shaken most of the sand off my kids, I always resurrect the crumpled letter telling me what I need to get them started. Inevitably, there will be something telling me to mark all their clothing with their name … which I never do, and always end up losing a jacket, a ballet shoe or a sports shirt. This year, I’m going to get organized and order labels for everything. Reasonably priced, Oliver’s Labels has labels for the insides of shoes and both iron-on and stick on clothing labels. If you have more than one child, consider just printing their last name, so you can reuse without confusion.
