Beach-to-Bombshell Hair!
For this week’s style post, I’m going to talk about my favorite hair style– beachy, touchable, undone waves. As much as this look sounds like all we have to do is roll out of bed, of course, this is not the case. A lot of work and products are needed to make it look like we wake up looking this fabulous! My two favorite must have products– Oribe’s Apres Beach wave and shine spray, and Oribe’s Dry texturizing spray. Oribe’s latest hair innovation makes us a little nostalgic for the summer. Apres Beach texturizing spray simulates the kind of piecey waves reminiscent of those warm days spent in the sand and surf, that are sadly behind us now– unless you are lucky enough to be on the beach right now for February break! For those of us who are still in Ridgewood, our short shorts and string bikinis will remain in storage for the next, oh, four months, but there’s no reason why we can’t have beachy definition to go with our sweaters, coats, and scarves! The best part about Oribe’s Apres Beach is that it has been formulated sans salt. Therefore, it manages to impart a shiny, tousled look without any of the sticky stiffness so many of its competitors– not to mention the ocean itself– can leave behind. No dreadlocked, mattified mess here, just soft, glistening separation which will not be bound by seasonal change. For bigger, better, full-on glamorous hair add Oribe’s Dry Texturizing Spray. This invisible dry hair spray builds in incredible volume and texture. It’s also great for those days where you want to push washing your hair an extra day.
