WORLD: Mass Grave Discovered in Mexico

NBC reports that the mass grave found near Mexico City yesterday is thought to hold the bodies of bar-goers who went missing in May. Twelve young people, the youngest being only 16, disappeared from a bar an upscale area of Mexico City. Speculation is they were murdered by a drug cartel.

POP: Kelly Clarkson “I am not pregnant.”

Rumor were flying about Clarkson and her baby bump. According to E, she denied pregnancy on Twitter, claiming she and fiancé Brandon Blackstock decided to elope not because of a shotgun, but because they want an intimate ceremony.

NATIONAL: Signs of the Economy Recovering, but still not enough for most

The NY Times is reporting the median income in America has risen, but is still 6% lower than what it was in 2007. So, while unemployment seems to be declining and the economy may be show signs of improvement, U.S. households still do not have the purchasing power they had sis years ago.
