Pre-Halloween Downtown Trick-or-Treating, Costume Contest and Parade:
Come to Downtown Westfield this Sunday, October 25 to enjoy a fun filled afternoon in celebration of Halloween. Bring your kids dressed in costume to go trick-or-treating in the retail stores and restaurants throughout town, followed by a Halloween Parade hosted by the Optimist Club, and a costume contest sponsored by the Downtown Westfield Corporation. Williams Nursery Halloween Festivities: 
If you’re looking to go pumpkin picking or take a fun hayride, look no further than Westfield’s very own Williams Nursery. This weekend, Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 is the last weekend to enjoy these fall favorites. Their 23rd annual Costume Contest will be held this Saturday, October 24 as well! Women to Women Networking Event: 
The Westfield Area Chamber of Commerce would like to welcome women to come and meet other entrepreneurial women for an evening of networking, networking and more networking! The event will be held on Wednesday, October 28, at The Westwood in Garwood NJ. Enjoy cocktails (cash bar), hors d’oeuvres, food stations and see what local vendors have to show you. Shopping, Sales and Tips for the Week: 
I always enjoy spending a nice fall day shopping in beautiful downtown Westfield, especially when I can snag a great sale item or two! I was just in the Gap (includes a maternity, baby and kids section too) and they were having a 50% off select items sale, which is right up my alley. Trendy South Moon Under is celebrating a 20% off all denim sale and City Sports is having a store closing sale, just to name a few of the sales going on downtown this week. And don’t forget, stores stay open late on Thursdays and enjoy free parking all day Sunday.
