Annual PAL Women’s Breast Cancer Flag Football Game

women footballOn Saturday, October 15th, 2016, the Westfield PAL Flag Football program will once again host its annual woman’s flag football tournament in Tamaques Park.

This is the fourth year of the event, which raises money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation to help create awareness and find a cure for breast cancer.

Each year, the mothers, sisters and friends of the PAL program get together to play flag football in a fun environment while at the same time raise funds to help find a cure to this devastating disease.  Every dollar raised that day will go directly to the North Jersey affiliate of the  Susan G. Komen Foundation which is a not-for-profit organization with a section 501 (c) 3 status for tax purposes and governed by a board of trustees.

The Susan G. Komen representatives and breast cancer survivors will be present that day to hand out literature to increase awareness about breast cancer. For details on the event or to register a team of woman to play, please contact Erin Romano at: etromano77@yahoo.com or 617-833-5016 or John Dugan at jduganjr@comcast.net or 908-868-2811.

You may also create your own team or simply join a team when registering. Cost of the event is only $25 but any and all additional donations will be graciously accepted. To register, please go to www.westfieldpalfootball.com.
