Take a Ride Through Wonderland of Lights
Friday December 8, 15 and 22 • 6 to 9 p.m.
Saturday, Decemeber 16 and Dec. 23 • 6 to 9 p.m.
If you’re looking for a pretty drive to put you in the holiday spirit, take a drive through General Electric’s Nelahilly 92 acre park filled with festive holiday light displays. The tradition started 93 years ago but they took long hiatus and haven’t had the display since the 1950s. The drive is so popular that they added 2 extra days and stayed open 90 minutes past closing to accommodate the cars that waited for an hour to get in. Those that saw it said it was worth the wait!
Inside, GE re-created some of their favorite displays from the past 10 decades using over 500,000 modern LED bulbs. The lights can be seen by car or on foot.
You can also see limited displays along Noble Road every night throughout the month of December.
