POWER FOODS

Here is a great read, Power Foods – 150 Delicious Recipes within the 38 Healthiest Ingredients.  The editors of Whole Living Magazine wrote this book with the foreword by Martha Stewart. It explains 150 ways to incorporate healthy foods into our everyday meals.  The book shows research backed data about the health benefits and the disease fighting properties along with nutritional information. I have tried some of the recipes this week. Some were easy, some a little more challenging but all were delicious and the family (including the children) loved the dishes. The best part is the nutritional value in all of them. Give this book a try and start cooking healthy for your whole family.
