DIY Faith Cake – “Surprise Inside” Faith Cake tutorial by I am Baker blog. You will be using an 8 in or 9 in round cake pan for the yellow cake. You will need to make four layers. You should freeze the layers for at least an hour before assembling the cake. You can also freeze them overnight to save time. For the devils food cake, bake the cake in a rectangle pan.
