First Gov for Kids – www.kids.gov – is an ideal resource for resarch reports. It provides links to hundreds of kid-friendly, U.S. government-run sites divided by school grade and category. The other is National Geographic Kids – www.kids.nationalgeographic.com. This site provides extensive info on science, geography and history. And no surprise, it also has fabulous photos.
