How To Wear Red

Let’s face it… it’s hard not to feel sexy wearing red… especially red lipstick!  This hot-hue is a perfect accent color all year long, but is a must for February!  I’m sure it comes as no surprise to you that my all-time favorite way to add red to any outfit is wearing those gorgeous shoes with the beautiful red sole… Thank you, Christian Louboutin!  After that, I love adding red to my wardrobe with bold accent pieces.  Pair red skinnies with a simple white or black T-shirt.  Red accessories are a great way to make a statement, such as  hand bags, scarves, shoes and nail polish.  Of course, just don’t wear them all together!  If your in daring mood and have the urge to go all-in decked out in a red-hot dress, let your dress speak for it’s self and keep your hair, makeup and accessories simple and understated.  Mac’s Russian Doll is a perfect deep red shade for a night out on the town, but definitely packs a serious punch, so keep the rest of your makeup minimal.   Red is bold, but so classic you can think about it just like you would your little black dress… Only with more drama!
