Lawnmower Robot

The Lawnbott is a 25-pound lawn mower robot, (battery-operated) that cuts the grass and uses sensors to avoid flower beds and the like. Clippings are intended to stay put to become lawn fertilizer. The Lawnbott is to the lawnmower, like iRobot is to the vacuum. In fact, the concept is virtually the same, though instead of cleaning your floors the Lawnbott (the latest model is called the LB1500 SpyderEVO) can autonomosly mow your lawn for up to 3.5 hours over 10,000 square feet. An onboard bump sensor and a perimeter wire system keeps it from running wild into your neighbor’s yard. So how much does this convenience cost? $1799. However, keep in mind it’s electric so you won’t have to purchase that pricey gasoline.
