Come Out for the Tennis is for Everyone Event!

 

WHAT IS IT
“Tennis for Everyone” was organized by RHS sophomore, Andrew Swansonwith help from the Wheelchair Sports Federation. It’s a wheelchair tennis awareness and fundraising event. Find out more about how Andrew’s ideas began.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Planning on attending on Saturday? Drop in anytime 10-2pm.  When signing up, indicate lunch only OR lunch/play.

During the event, wheelchair athletes will demonstrate how to play wheelchair tennis and able bodied participants will take turns practicing and playing using the athletic wheelchairs. Fun for all!

Wheelchair athletes will also be available to play socially for those able-bodied players that want to play with them. Play consists of  2 bounces for wheelchair athletes and 1 for able bodied.  Able-bodied can decide if they want to use a wheelchair or not.
